Survival Despite Hurricane

Despite hurricane Rita, these stocks have survived the torment. Thanks to lower than expected damage, Continental Airlines (CAL) resumed flights out of Houston yesterday. Conns Inc. (CONN), a consumer electronics retailer, said today that 50 of their 55 retail locations were open as of yesterday despite hurricane damage in the area. Isle Of Capri Casinos Inc. (ISLE) also reported yesterday that its' two casino vessels in Lake Charles, LA were in fairly good shape after Rita. And, poultry producer Pilgrim's Pride Corporation (PPC) announced today that its facilities in the Gulf Coast region suffered minimally in the face of Rita and that the number of chickens lost to the hurricane was insignificant.
